The state of Pennsylvania has recognized notaries for over 200 years allowing registered individuals to deter fraud and ensure proper execution of a document on behalf of the Department of State for the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. Notaries Public are appointed by the state to act as impartial witnesses to the signing of key documents while ensuring the identification of the signatories as well as determining if a person is acting of their own free will.
As a part of our multitude of service offerings, Capitol Support Service provides a mobile notary service for our customers. This service allows customers to work from their home or office and have a notary come to them to notarize documents. Our services do not include automotive notaries which relate to tax, tags, and titles.
Like all state-recognized notaries, the Capitol Support Service Notaries Public are appointed by the Department of State under the Division of Commissions, Legislation, and Notaries (https://www.dos.pa.gov/OtherServices/Notaries/Pages/default.aspx).
Each notary is bonded, insured, and licensed as a part of a requirement for an appointment and follows the Revised Uniform Law on Notarial Acts.
